McComb, Mississippi

We went to Percy Quinn State Park in Mccomb Mississippi. Had a great time as always, met some RV friends, sat around the fire and sipped Chocolate martines. Life is good...but for how long???

You mean yall didn't go to the "Dinner Bell" for Sunday dinner????

(Link to The Dinner Bell website)

IF ya looked across the lake while you were there (Near the Southwest corner of the lake) you would see the "Primitive camping area". I spent a week of "Summer camp" with the boy scout troop I was with clearing out the underbrush and such to make that area.

Also back in the 70's a tornado went through there. I spend several weekends in a row cleaning up (Cutting up fallen trees and all other kinds of stuff) after the tornado. I used that work as my "Eagle Project". Actually have a letter from the Governor of MS at the time giving me free camping there for LIFE. (Although I have never used it)

Actually the golf course is in the area that was "Wiped clean of any trees" by the tornado.

Yep, I know a LITTLE about that park.......
