Melbourne, FL RV Park

Anyone ever stayed in or know anything about the Melbourne Beach (FL) Motorhome & RV Campground? Looked at it on Google Earth but it looks mostly like a permanent site trailer park.
Good luck and safe travels!

It is mostly a trailer park with some RV sites. They have a dozen or so sites on the beach side of US A1A. A couple of miles further south is an Outdoor Resorts which is very nice. It's largely park models now but still has a number of RV sites.

I live in Melbourne. Depending on the size of your RV and length of stay check out Sebastian Inlet State Park. It is a beautiful park (not many tall trees) right on the Indian River and the ocean. Probably full on weekends but a very pretty and peaceful place. Sites are great for maybe a max 35 ft, my 42 footer won't fit.

Don't think I will fit. Mine is 41 ft. Thanks for the suggestion though. If all else fails I still have an offer from an old Navy buddy who has a concrete pad somewhere around Sebastian on the Lagoon(?). Trying to stay as close to Melbourne as possible. Should be an interesting trip.
Good luck and safe travels!

Jetty Park up at Port Canaveral is pretty nice and not really far from Melbourne. The cruise ships going in & out of the ships channel provide free entertainment.

We are going to be residing at Jetty Park in April 2014 for about 6 months. It is a beautiful campground and the beaches are just a walk away. I'm not sure of the max size. Ours is a 34 ft. Good luck!

I live 20 minutes from Jetty Park and camp there all the time. Love it there. I have a 40ft DP and they do have some spaces for big rigs. Enjoy it!!!
