It rained a lot of the time and people across a finger of the lake had a band going till 1:00 am the first night and 2:00 am the second. When park management found out they called the cops and the music STOPPED for the rest of the weekend. The excuse was that the speakers were pointed away from their house so they didn't didn't think it was that loud. I hate to tell them but out MH was vibrating and the speakers were a mile or more away!!
Anyway, it still was a good weekend, BBQ's some steaks, read and watched TV. Too rainy for a bonfire though so I brought the wood back home.

Well...not the best weekend. Could have been worse but...

We had a group of hard party 4 RVs on one side of us. Not that I wanted to be a buzz killer but I finally had to contact the CG management about them. Got a little relief but each morning we had beer cans in our spot from them. Quiet hours meant they turned the music from 10 to 7.

I almost did a rain dance (didn't have to) just to dampen the party. The seasonals on the other side of me warned me early Friday as we were setting up about that group. The rain on Sunday did help cool them down. Fortunately, most of Friday and Saturday were spent at my BIL's place.

The CG management seemed willing to work with us but when we arrived they had moved us from the original spot to another one and...BTW...the 50 amp service on that spot was not working. I told them it was unacceptable and they moved me to a new one that was still trashed out after a seasonal camper moved out. Another trip to the office and we got a new one next to the party group.

Doubt I would go there on any traditional holiday unless I had to.

TNBlondie

While at Prizor Pointe I expressed my horrible stay at KY Lake Resort to my neighbor.
He said stay away from all State Parks in KY they are all like that. Sad. But I will listen.
I really liked Prizor Pointe. But again the rate is $90 a nite but really nice.

We went to a few private owned to view and they were just horrid almost like RV cities, kwim?? Instead of a tent city!! I did not like those either

I like to bike and walk my dogs and a little room to move, kwim!
