Merced or Fresno, CA??

My family is going to Yosemite in April coming from the South. My DW wants to stop at a Costco on the way so I figure I should fuel up while there. We're driving a 35ft MH with dolly/toad.

Does anyone know if either Merced or Fresno (Shaw) Costco gas stations have RV friendly entry/exit and gas pumps? Is there any preference between the two?

Thanks in advance!

I would go to Fresno,no need to go the xtra distance toMerced. Acess to the pumps are good expect long lines exit with care high volume of traffic Home Depot etc .When u get off 99 take left under freeway get in right lane quickly and go Right on Blackstone take first right very short street make left pumps are on north end of lot. Enjoy the park

Thank you so much! It appears you live close by so I appreciate the answer!

One more question please....
I've taken 41 in the past and it seems like the long way in. Love the drive and the beauty of it, but I'm looking to get in the park asap. Is 140 any better or shorter of a drive? Maybe worth the extra few miles to go in that direction?

Thanks again!

I like the 140side .u might have a problem with total length of rig 42 max for bridges to get past the landslide on 140 there is room tp unhook if need be. 140 from merced comes to Mariposa (live here)to Mid pinesand int the Parkl. One climb before Mariposa and a steep decend to the Merced River Canyon.I like this way because u travel along the riveraalmostall the way end.If u need to get to the Costcoin mercer exit 99 at r street procide straight to v street costco entrance on right one way frontage road and ramp .Glad to help any more questions just ask.
