We just returned from a wonderful 5-month trip to Mexico's mainland. Are there any other Mexico travelers here? We're planning our trip for next year. It was wonderful to escape the cold winter of Central Oregon!

Yes, I'm planning to spend at least part of next winter in Puerto Penasco.

Yes. I've driven through Mexico via it's east coast several times, all the way to Guatemala and back, perhaps six times, and one trip leaving Guatemala for Belize and Mexico on the return trip in my old Class B.

Anyone with experience in Mexician campgrounds, near Puerto Vallarta, thinking of next winter and are concerned with security and hookups.

Here is a blog of a guy (Tioga George) who has been traveling in Mexico for quite a few years. He used to just go into Baja, but has been doing the mainland for the last two:
The Adventures of Tioga and George
He is presently in California, but heading back.

Your best information on Mexico Camping is Mike and Terri Churches books available from WWW.rollinghomes.com and Amazon or other retailers. It is hard to find anyone traveling in Mexico with out their book.
