Miami Campground Suggestions

I am looking to spend a couple of days in Miami, looking for some suggestions for a decent campground.
The closer to the Dolphins Stadium the better.
Thanks

From the reports we're hearing from our friends all over Florida this winter season.....all we can say is good luck.

Allstays is where I'd start.

We are at Miami Everglades Resort just outside of Miami.

Talking to some of the short term folks, there seems to be openings for a few days, all of the time.

Some sites are water and power only but others are full hookup.

Check out the web site or call them.

Broward county is just north of the stadium. They have some nice campgrounds with full hookups. TY (topecheyugnee) park or Markham Park would be pretty close. I have not stayed at either, but have heard good things about them. I usually stay at Easterlin park when in that area.
Also, there are a lot of mobile home parks in Davie. Some of those probably take RVs,
Any of these will be much closer to the stadium than Everglades which is in far southwest Miami, closer to Homestead.

Carlos,
Thanks for the information.
I looked at Markham Park & surprised on how much a county park had to offer, lots of good reviews.
When I called for a reservation the lady said in March there's no need to make a reservation just pull in & pick a site !
Thanks again

We stayed at Markham a couple of weeks ago and were pleased with the park (although we made limited use of the facilities because of rain).

Markham has a shooting range, and you will hear gunfire. The higher the letter of the loop, the closer to the range and the louder the sound. Just FYI.

There is also typically 1 cement pad per loop. The rest are dirt. It rained most of the time we were there and got a bit sloppy on our site.

I am shocked that there is easy availability in March . . . Not usually easy to find county or state park campgrounds in Florida in Febraary and March. I think I would call again to verify that there is wide availability in March.

C.B.Smith Park in Pembroke Pines gets you 15 minutes in traffic to Dolphins stadium. Close to I75. 20 minutes to Ft lauderdale and Hollywood,30 minutes to Miami. Plenty of good shopping options blocks away.
