Michigan campground information needed

We are going to visit some friends that live in shelby township, Mi. this june. Does anybody have any ideals where we could stay. We have a 39' canyon star. I would like to have full hook ups.

Thanks,

Ricky

It's a bit of a drive but Camp Dearborn in Milford is nice.

Go online to Marvac.org and research the campgrounds listed by them. For reference Shelby is for conversation, 25 miles North of Detroit.

Are you going to Shelby Township or Shelby Charter Township. Can you give me a town/city name? One is on the east, the other on the west of the state. If your going to the one on the east side, about 30 mi.. Straight down route 59, just past Pontiac. Also check out RV Parky.

Finding a RV park around Metro Detroit area is difficult. Use RVparkreviews.com to find parks. Zoom in and you will find a open area around the area. My best recommendation would be KOA in Port Huron or Algonac State Park. Both will require a 40 minute drive time during low traffic times.

There is a Shelby Township on the west side of MI. There is also a Shelby Charter Township on the east side of the state that is also referred to as Shelby Township. A city name will help differentiate between the two.
