Minot, North Dakota campgrounds?

We are heading West on Hwy 2 and I am trying to find a campground somewhere near Minot. Thank you.

If you do not have a Good Sam or Woodall RV Campground book, try RVParky or Allstays on the net to locate place to stay. There are also sites which include state, federal, COE and local municipality RV facilities.

With the "shale gale" thing, getting a spot in Minot may be challenging but not insurmountable. If you are just looking for an easy overnight look to Minot. There is a Wal-Mart south of the 2 on the 83.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay for a while (about consider Lake Metigoshie State Park up by Bottineau, ND. Just under 2 hours from Minot. We camped there for a week and loved it. Loads of bike trails and fun on the water.

You might also consider staying at the International Peace Gardens Campground. A very relaxing and reflective place.

Thanks friends. We are just west of Grand Forks, ND , staying in Turtle River State Park until Wednesday. I highly recommend this scenic park with lots of trails and wooded sites. Slowly working our way to Glacier NP.

There is a commercial park on the west side of Minot. The name escapes me at present. A large number of workers there but they do have several spaces for passers-thru. Check RVParkreviews.com for further information.
