Mission Bay RV Resort San Diego

Just found out that Campland has taken over Mission Bay RV Resort - has anyone stayed there in the last few weeks that can offer some insight on the changes? Is the staff still there?

I'm assuming that they have to honor reservations made under the previous management, but was wondering if the new fee and time limit structure is going to be the same as Campland's.

The news could be confused with Campland taking over DeAnzaCove - mobile home community:

Yep. Quite sure - the previous management quit 6/30 this year, and the city approved Campland's takeover at the end of June.

"Under a new city proposal, Campland, which has 560 slots, would take over and expand the Mission Bay RV Resort as part of a lease extension that would also include a series of additional upgrades."

Mission Bay RV Resort really needs updating, but we'd always stayed there because we weren't crazy about the party atmosphere at Campland. I think it's great for the folks who enjoy that, but I'd be sad to see it be the only alternative.
