Any tips on campgrounds very near the casinos in MS? Do the casinos allow motorhome parking? Thanks!

They do in Tunica. I go there all the time. Not by the coast though. It's 20 miles south of Memphis.

There's a good one in Kinder Louisiana. Great RV park. That's South.

The Palace in Biloxi has a big parking lot next door for RV's. Check at the security shack and they will call the golf cart for and bring you back. Or just call valet on your cell phone. Typical player club perks.

THE WHOLE CASINO IS NON SMOKING!!!!

Imperial Palace has a large lot too, gravel, short walk to the casino.

Both FREE parking.

Coushatta is the casino in Kinder LA. Nice park, full hook ups, courtesy van etc. Reasonable price, we just left from a week stay over xmas and I think our most expensive night was $20, others were I think $15.

It's not on the coast and it's not in Mississippi, but someone might want to know.

In Bay St Louis both the Sliver Slipper Casino (Silver Slipper Casino) and the Hollywood Casino RV/Marina do have RV parks. The casinos in Biloxi do not. When I take the motorhome over there I prefer to stay at Majestic Oaks RV Park http://www.majesticoaksrv.com/ which is convenient to all the casinos there. There are other RV parks in Biloxi but I don't really care for them. Others will differ.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! We chose the Hollywood Casino RV park at Bay Saint Louis. Very nice campground...clean bath house, laundry, well kept sites. All sites paved with picnic table, grill, and trash container! Pet friendly, too. Of course, it is within easy walking distance of the Hollywood Casino, or there is a casino shuttle every 30 minutes! Good Sam price was $31.50/night for 50 AMP full hookups.

Davis Bayou does not have full hook-ups, i.e.. no at the site sewer connection. The Hollywood Casino RV Park does have full hook-ups and is a very nice. Access to the casino is very convenient and last time I was there the casino had a very reasonably priced buffet. It is centrally located should one wish to go to New Orleans or visit the casinos and shopping in Biloxi and Ocean Springs. Because a person does not choose to stay at the least dollar per night cost park is no reason to make derogatory remarks about what their financial status may be. If that is your motorhome in your avatar I know lots of folks that would think you're one of the people that "got plenty of $$$$$". Nice looking rig by the way.

Thanks Sarah for letting us know what your selection was.

I think it's great that we can all share info about the campgrounds we've been to. I appreciate everyone's input!

It wasn't said in a derogatory manner,if I said something like(being snobby) yes,the pic's I saw of $8 site looked good to me and yes you don't have to be rich to own one of these homes and thats what they are when on the road, and you cant take it with you so some choose to pay monthly for these and not leave it at the end!Oh by the way I can go about a week on Black water and if paying the diff between $8,$16 or$31 is sewer I'll take the cheap way out as long as its safe and has a few friendly folks, dont need the party's at night, even though you can meet many in State and Fed parks, now if parking would cost to much then yes the $31 site would prob work.
