Mississippi stop

We need to stop in Laurel Mississippi this weekend, but reviews for the only RV park and the only Walmart were bad (actually don't the Walmart allows overnight parking anymore). Traveling in 40'DP with CRV Toad, my wife, handicap parent, & boxer puppy. Anybody know a safe place to stop in Laurel MS or close to that area. Thanks

There's not much between Meridian and Hattisburg along I-59. You might do better around Hattisburg, MS but I have never camped in that area. University of Southern Mississippi is in Hattisburg so I'm guessing there would be some acceptable RV parks there. ------ Jim

Take a look t Big Creek Water Park in Soso, MS... 13 miles west of Laurel

(601) 763-8555

have never been there, but it popped up on my computer when I searched the area.
