MLB Grapefruit League info Please

We went to some spring training games when we lived in AZ and liked them a lot. Now we live in Tulsa OK and are thinking about going to some next spring. I'm thinking I should pick a spot and inquire about reservations soon to get a good spot.

If I plan it right we can " kill three birds with one stone".
1. Go see the kids/grandkids in the FL panhandle, Crestview.
2. Go see the Daytona 500. I've wanted to see the race for years.
3. Stay in the area for some spring training baseball. It starts the same weekend as the race.

Most of the teams I follow train in AZ, so location close to a particular team doesn't matter. Looks like most teams are based on the Gulf coast.
What I'm looking for is a nice 55+ park...not trashy but doesn't cost a fortune. Good fishing spots and good low to moderate cost restaurants would be a plus.

Where is the best place to "base camp" and not spend all our time driving to see things?
Do some of you go to FL for spring training? Where, and have you tried different locations?

Thanks
Gary

We reside in Zephyrhills for the winter. It's about 18 miles to Lakeland to watch the Tigers. Tampa isn't far away either with plenty of action as well. Our park www.emeraldpointervresort.com if you want to check out the site. Good Luck.

I think we want to try Florida for a change. We have always gone west before. We managed property in Tucson AZ and had the Rockies and Diamondbacks there at that time. That's what got us into the "spring training thing". We will probably do the Cactus League next year.

Thanks
