Moab UT recommendation for RV and tent

Thanks for reading,

My family and I are heading out west on a two week tour. We have a two night stop in Moab UT on our way to Denver. We are in 37' Class A and are pulling a toad.

We have a guest driving out from Colorado to see the sites with us. She would like to tent camp with us on our site or at least in the same campground. Could you recommend a decent campground with 50amp pull through sites that would allow a tent or at least allow tents in the campground?

We had planned on Spanish trail, but just learned they don't allow tents. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

This place has everything you need pull though full hookup sites and a plenty of tent spaces. and everything in between.

I've stayed there every time I'm in Moab. It is quiet about a mile from the highway on the back of town.
It shouldn't be busy this time of year since school has started back up in most places.

Try OK RV Park and Canyonlands Stables. We stayed there back in 2007. It was a nice clean park. It is also Passport America. I believe they take tents.

Portal RV has 50 amp pull thru's and a tent section. It's on the main road ( but sits back a bit so noise is not a problem) and I'd guess less than a mile to the downtown shops. We were there for a week last month

Thanks again for the tips!! Pack creek said they can't accommodate a RV over 35' in a full hook up.

I'm leaning towards canyon lands rv resort. I really appreciate it.

There is a KOA 2 miles south of downtown, clean. Tents, cabins, pool, store, etc. it's quiet, and room for big rigs. I stayed there for a week over July 4th, and enjoyed it. Very clean restrooms with showers. Enjoy.

I stayed at Riverside Oasis, and it worked out well for us with a pull through spot. They have tent specific sites, and some small cabins as well that might work out for your guests. There is also a new Fairfield Inn right next door, it was under construction when we were there in Aug 2014. There are quite a few tress to provide shade and it is just south a short distance across the highway from Arches National Park entrance.

I went with Canyonlands RV. In fact I'm here now. Sites are small but very clean and i love the shade of trees.
