We would like to take a trip to Moab, but aren't able to leave until the middle of October. Then on to the Grand Canyon.
What is the weather like there that time of the year normally. Is that to late, don't want to get stuck in any winter storms if possible.

It's a beautiful time of year to go to Moab. Assume from your profile you are coming from TX, so weather enroute should not be an issue. Better start calling to see if you can get in anywhere, it's a busy time of year there.

Moab will be beautiful.

The Grand Canyon could be cold and the road to the north rim could be closed depending on how late in October you are going.
