Moabi Regional Park near Needles

Husband I thought maybe our first trip with motorhome (2002 Windsor) should be near a town that we can utilize if a problem arises...they always do, right? ha ha
Moabi is a straight, easy shot from Vegas and mid April should supply some good weather. They have dry camping on the river (that's what we'd like doing) but also a full hook-up area. Anyone have experience in the place. I searched the name but nothing came up...Thanks, Donna

They have 2 kinds of sites there, in an RV park type area, and along the river on little pennsulas the go into the river that hold 4 or 5 rv's with hook-ups. You shouldn't have a problem getting in there as long as you miss spring break week. Any time past mid may it is very difficult.
