Monterey, CA - Pebble Beach Concours

Looking for anyone who has had an opportunity to enjoy the Concours while visiting with their RV.

I'm finding very few parks available for a 40' within reasonable distance of the festivities, that will hold us.

Anyone have any tips, or contacts for private individuals that may have room for an RV for a few days?

TIA,
Smitty

Whenever we go up that way, I stay at the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. It is about a 30min drive. You can watch any races or testing for free. There is a pretty steep hill to get up to the campground, but you shouldn't have a problem. Monterey County Parks | Laguna Seca Recreation Area

FYI - I have a 35ft travel trailer now and before I had a 32ft Class C and pulled my Toyota Camry on a dolly when I stayed there.

We stayed right here for 3 nights, bought a $16.00 parking tag at the kiosk every am with no bothers from anyone.

Monterrey car week is on my bucket list, and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is just one of the many activities. I guess you are talking about the August 2017 concours and have a feel for cost. Per their website admission for next year will be announced, but 2016 was $325 per person advance purchase, $375 day of show - general admission. Club d'Elegance was $750, and the Chairman's Hospitality ticket was $2500. As Jay Leno says "Pebble Beach is where the mere millionaires get to rub shoulders with the billionaires"

Thanks for the tips! I'll do more research from here.

Oddly, they had no interest in my attempted entry of a 2004 Country Coach Allure High Cascade. I suggested perhaps on the 17th hole, would be a great location for it. And heck, I even offered to fertilize the green for them with a little help from the Black/Grey tanks...

And yeah, I'll get DW to start donating blood months in advance, them tickets are pricey!!!

Best to all,
Smitty
