Morro Dune RV resort

My wife & I just got back to the ranch from a 4 day stay at Morro Dunes Rv resort in Morro Bay California, it was our first stay "on the beach", kinda, .....a VERY short walk to the sand dunes, up an over an we were right at the big rock. The people there are ALL top notch, the park is very "dog friendly" as were ALL the restaurant's down at the harbor, downtown, a couple of the outdorr patio area's we ate at the waiter brought over a CLEAN water bowl with iced water an a couple doggie biskit's for Moose. From San Luis Obispo down to the little baech town of Cayucos is probably 5 maybe 6 miles. The weather was unreal, no, I mean REALLY unreal, it was in the '80's everyday, no fog or high winds. The beachs were ALL cool with letting the dogs run on the beach, while the signs DO say " dog's must be on a leash " but I don't think I saw any once you cleared the parking lot. They had a nice , fenced "dog area" with shovels, scoops an everything else ya might need. We will for SURE keep this one at the top of our "list".

sounds really nice except for people ignoring the leash regs. we’re dog lovers/owner...a little beagle named maggie. letting dogs run loose on the beach is a just asking for trouble.

We stayed there and were not impressed. People coming in all hours of the night and setting up meant little sleep. Drunks up half the night talking loud and throwing empty bottles in a trash can. When we went to the office to complain, they ask, "What do you want us to do, it was after hours? Call the police next time." Never again. Chuck
