Mt Evans | CO

In a couple of weeks we will be heading West from PA to Yellowstone. I would like to stop and see Mt Evans in Colorado on the way out.

Is anyone familiar with a campground that would be close to Mt Evans?

Mt Evans is right outside of Idaho springs which is not that far from denver. There is one campground at Idaho springs but it is mostly permanent folks with only a handful of rv slots. But it is the closest to mt Evans. We livejust east of denver in aurora. There are plenty of good rv parks in the denver area all an easy drive to mt Evans. What type of rv do you have and what will you be driving up mt Evans? With a little more detail ill be glad to talk with you over the phone about all the options. Give me a shout.
