Smile Mt Rushmore

we want to see Mt Rushmore and want a RV park that will allow us to park our motorhome with our motorcycles on a trailer. Some parks frown upon motorcycles. does anyone know a decent park near Mt. Rushmore.

I saw bikes in the campground while we was staying at Rafter J Bar, near Hill City.

Rafter J does allow motorcycles. We were there in August '15.
Hard to believe any campground in and around Mt. Rushmore wouldn't allow them considering most attendees of the yearly Sturgis Motorcycle Rally fill most of the campgrounds around the area with trailers and bikes of all kinds.
One of the most beautiful areas for riding.

Pretty much any park in the Black Hills is gonna be motorcycle friendly.

If you want a small, quiet, friendly park I suggest The Roost in Custer. 10 cabins and a couple of RV and tent sites. Frank and Susan, owners, are great people.

Custer Gulch is a campground that sits at the entrance to Custer State Park. The sites are gravel and the sites are large. It is close to Rushmore and the other great motorcycle rides like needles highway and iron mountain road. We have stayed there several times.

You wont find any RV park in that area frowning on motorcycles. If you plan on visiting there this summer it might be tough getting a site during the last two weeks of July thru first two weeks of August due to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
