Mt Rushmore area doggie day care

Traveling to the Mt Rushmore area soon, and will need a doggie day care nearby for the fur babies. Anyone recommend one nearby that they have had experience with??

If you don't hear from anyone with direct experience in that area, you may want to check out the Rover pet sitting service. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law have used Rover while traveling and have been happy with their pet sitters. We have no pets now, so no experience with it ourselves.

doggie day care what a GOOD idea .we were headed to Custer sd. but had to detour back home as the wife's back was out and she could barely walk. we were going to see the caves and Mount Rushmore and some other places were dogs weren't aloud. she's usually comfortable saying in the trailer but I worry about her. a doggie day care would have maybe been great for days when we went to some dog restricted area. does anyone know of any in Custer sd. i'll bet it would be a good business.

Try calling the local Chamber of Commerce for Custer, Keystone, Hill City or Rapid City. I worked at Custer State Park for 3 years and never heard of one but they may exist.

If you can would you please let us or me know what you think after you get there. i'm a little protective of my dog and wouldn't just drop her off anywhere. and we are planning to go again next spring when we can maybe do the complete trip.
thanks Jay D.
