We have stayed at this campground a number of times over the past 12 years and love it. It is always clean and quiet. The folks working there have always been pleasant and fun to talk with. If you got kicked out, it was probably way over due. Glad you were nowhere near me. We will go back for certain. As for KOA's in general, we have stayed in many, and yes some are very expensive, some are tight and some are nicer than others. All in all, KOA sets a standard, and you have some assurance that where you are staying will be about what you were expecting. We are KOA members and will remain so. In fact, we just had a wonderful weekend at the Wilmington, NC KOA. Looking forward to KOA Mount Pleasant again already.

Jackie,
Thank you for your post. You have a tough job, and I thank you for keeping your campground family friendly. I look forward to our next trip to Mount Pleasant KOA.

(Officer) What happened here?
(Me) I believe he tased himself, with his own taser... magical really..

Good on ya Jackie!
It's fantastic you were able to join and give us the straight goods on what really happened. I'm sure we all suspected the story went something like that!
Kudo's to you for managing your park for the comfort of all!

I'll bet the OP wishes he never posted his version here!

Thank you so much for your support! I'm really not here to make people unhappy or miserable, and I take no pleasure going out after hours to ask folks to be considerate of their fellow campers. We want all of our campers to have the best camping experience possible. Hope you can come stay with us sometime!

We would defiantly stay there. Jackie I wished more places would do what you did. Quiet time is quiet time and there are many of us who enjoy just that. Nice job!

Don't stay at KOA very often, but will definitely keep this one in mind when in that area as it sounds very well managed.

Probably just posted it and vanished, never to be heard from again! Not sure he'll have a guts to even read the replies or to respond if he does.

He's been to other parts of the forum site since his original post on this "issue".

There is always more than one side to a story. I'd like to hear the other before passing judgement.

1bigmess,

I'm pretty sure that Jackie just TOLD us the other side of the story . . . . you know, the one that the OP just happened to forget to tell when he made his first post! The one the included Alcohol, 1130 pm, Belligerent, hitting the next doors vehicle, the Taser, you know, THOSE parts!
