Nice looking buffet. Do they keep the losta bin full. Or do you have to wait for em?

What a great contribution. Thanks

Now if we only had a way to see which restaurants have easy parking for a coach and a toad if you are only passing through the area. When we want to stop for lunch it is always a problem of parking to get anything to eat.

I know...give folks something and they always want more .

Great list so far!! Here's some
Arizona:
The Turquoise Room @ La Posada Hotel, Winslow AZ - Wonderful food and atmosphere at a redone Harvey House Hotel. The Signature Soup is my favorite. Also Piki bread and Hopi hummus, elk medallions, Churro lamb and so much more. Great breakfast too. Easy parking and access

New Mexico:
The Owl Bar, San Antonio New Mexico! - The best green chile cheeseburgers in my opinion in the world!! Their across the street competition Manny's Buckhorn has closed.

La Posta, Mesilla, NM (near Las Cruces) - My favorite since I was 7! Local Mexican with a New Mexican flare!

Gabriel's, Santa Fe, NM - Located north of Santa Fe in Pojoaque. You have to have the tableside guacamole.

El Pinto, Albuquerque - Red chile ribs and fried green chile strips, tons of house made salsas to try (and take a jar with you)

California:
Frutti de Mar, Monterey CA - in the Downtown area, calamari, sand dabs, and some Italian. Wonderful meal.

Red House BBQ, Tehachapi CA - Brisket, ribs and chicken after a long drive.

The Voyager Restaurant, Mojave CA - At the Mojave Air and Space Port. Breakfast and lunch and you may see something cool on the runway just outside of the place.

Jockos has been around for over 85 years... It's about 8 miles north of Santa Maria and a few blocks east off of the 101 freeway.
For me Jocko's in Nipomo and Pea Soup Andersen's in Buellton are a must-visit any time I'm passing through the area.
On my last visit to Jocko's I had the rib-eye steak, my friends had the new york cut, both were perfect, were over an inch thick.
The salads are great too. All steaks are grilled over an oak fire.
