Well a restaurant that I found very good, interesting is Monel’s in Nashville there are three in the area. Great home style cooking served family style. Menus is different each day of the week except for pan fried chicken!

The Gun Barrel in Jackson, Wy. Bison prime rib is great.
Greengo's in Spring Texas or Nicky's in Haughton, LA. Both have excellent Fried, Stuffed Avocado.
In Pigeon Forge, TN The Apple Barn is a regular for our visits.
In Branson, MO try Shorty Small's for the"world's largest chicken fried steak."

Please do the spread sheet!!!

La Guadalupana Taqueria in Forest Hill LA SO good.

Billy's Boudin & Crackling in Opelousas LA and you can eat at visitors center across the street and see the homes normal people lived in, not plantations. And gorgeous cemetery across visitor center's street.

Steamboat Bill's Alexandria, LA, really is like great homecooking.

Drago's charbroiled oysters Metairie LA (and I don't really like oysters!)

Georgia's Greek Restaurant & Deli
323 NW 85th St, Seattle, WA 98117

Poppo's Taqueria around Sarasota Fl area, so good!!!

BirdHouse fried chicken in Page AZ

Corky's Ribs & BBQ this was at Memphis airport but I still dream about it.

YUM!

At first sight you may not want to go into Giloulies. Go in! It looks rough but the locals all eat there and the food is great.

Speaking rough around the edges. B's BBQ in Greenville NC is one of my favs. They serve BBQ pork and BBQ chicken. During football season they feature this place on ESPN. They cook early in the day and when it is gone they shut up and go home. Best be there before 12noon. Closed on SUn and Mon. Even have a street named after them

Hey, I forgot to recommend Woody's Crab House, in the town of North East, MD. Go ahead, throw peanut shells on the floor - it's that kind of place.
