Must go to restaurants.

We will be hitting the road this summer. We love to eat good food. IYHO what are the best places you have found that the food is a must eat. It does not matter if it is a dive or a $100 a plate fine diner. We want to know,

A really fun place for the entire family or just couples.
Don't go if you're not hungry.

Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City (Tampa) FL. Unique, Historic and Authentic Cuban/Latin fare. They have other locations in Sarrasota, St. Augustine and Orlando but the Ybor City location is the best!

And of all the upper scale steak places we like Flemings over Ruths Chris, Shulas, Charleys or Del Frisco's.

I live in Louisiana, so I could probably name 30 that are all within a 2 hour drive of my house. Though if I have to name just one, it would be Pat's on the Wharf in Henderson, Louisiana. The food is good, but it also has some important historical significance as its owner Pat Huval (who just passed away last year) was instrumental in putting cajun food on the national map back in 1950's. If you go, try to go on the weekend, either day or evening, as watching the local clientele is half the fun.

Try the Buckeye in Winters, California, near Davis. Great steaks and happy hour. If you’re in Las Vegas and like Italian go to the Casa di Amore or Ventanos.

Muffuletta at Central Grocery in New Orleans.

Across the street is Cafe Du Monde. Best Beignets in the world.
