In June we will take 30 days and travel through IN,OH,WV,VA,NC,GA. We prefer State/National Parks and enjoy kayaking ang hiking along with some history. Any suggestions?

Turkey Run State Park in central Indiana is beautiful. Best to visit during the week if possible, it fills up fast on weekends. Also, Raccoon Lake which is kinda close to Turkey Run has a beautiful beach, you can rent boats, etc.

For Ohio, two must stop parks are:

Mohican State Park~ Ohio's most popular park known as the canoeing capital of the midwest. The campground is located along a small creek for kayaking and tubing. It is one of only 3 state parks in Ohio with a nice pool. Also here there is 24 miles of mountain biking, ice cream parlor, game room. It is located between Cleveland and Columbus. Mohican Pixs

Hocking Hills~ This area is known for caves and hiking. You have Old man's cave, Ash Cave, Ceder Falls....The campground is on top of a ridge just above the cave area. This tooo is one of the Ohio SP's with a pool... HH is located in SE. Ohio... HH Pix's

Both of these fill up very fast....so book early....
