Myrtle Beach campground

Has anyone stayed at Briarcliffe RV Resort in North Myrtle Beach? It's a nice quiet campground right next to Barefoot Landing. It is a Coast to Coast park but also open to the public.

We stayed just south of there at Pirateland Campground. Was off-season (November) and we got a beach-front spot. Only thing between us and the water was a dune. Could see the ocean from or rv windows, including the bedroom window.

That is where we stay when at Myrtle Beach. It is a mile from the beach, clean paved and no sand that gets tracked inside the MH. It is close to everything and less than 1/2 price of the sardine can beach parks.

We are park members of briarcliffe. I like the idea that I can leave the park on my golf cart and go to the ocean. Everything is close to us they even a super Walmart and Cracker Barrel within a mile. Has anyone stayed at Fort Chiswell RV park in Virginia?

We've been here in Briarcliffe since Oct., and will be staying through the winter. Being the off season it certainly is quiet, and everyone is very nice. The monthly rate is great, but I think it's going up some starting in Jan. But with electric included it's a bargain. We're close to everything we need, from groceries, to just about any kind of restaurant you could want.

We've stayed at Briarcliffe twice. Saved some money with Passport America. If you go make sure they don't put you in the loop next to the highway unless you like to hear sirens all night and like the sound of acorns on your roof.

We have stayed at Briarcliffe and liked it fine. We have also stayed at nearly all the large beach campgrounds as well as the state park. They are all unique and I am not sure we have a favorite.
