Myrtle Beach campgrounds/RV parks

We will be in the Beach in early Nov thru mid May. Any suggestions on campgrounds or parks with full hookups? Laundry, pool, spa not needed.

Thank you!

No, beach is not needed. We have family there to visit and will be beaching it with them. We just need a full hookup for 6 months.

Hi,
You'll be there during off season. You'll have the place to yourselves. Consider:
1. Stay away from Apache Family CG. Good CG if you want to fish. Other than that it is very small spaces, very tight.
2. Briarcliffe RV Resort at Welcome to Briarcliffe RV Resorts!
3. Cypress Camping Resort at https://www.cypresscampingresort.com/aboutus/

Willow Tree is actually in Long's S.C. Just north west of North Myrtle Beach, is the nicest campground in the area. Check it out at willowtreervr .com

Willow Tree is very nice but a bit out of the way if you want to be anywhere near the beach or many of the attractions. If you want to stay there, suggest you contact them now since they told me last November they pretty much fill up in winter with snowbirds.

North Myrtle Beach Travel Park is nice and on the ocean. Our favorite is Ocean Lakes on the south end and it has pretty much everything.... indoor pool, store, nice laundry. Next to Ocean Lakes is Lakewood and Pirate Land, also both on the ocean.

We enjoyed our time (10 days) at Ocean Lakes last spring, and plan to go back for 3 or 4 weeks next spring. Ocean Lakes had a major renovation / expansion project on thier pool area slated for this off season, so if you stay there I would suggest a site on the other side of the property due to the expected construction.

Drove though Pirate Land and was not impressed at all, but never got around to look at Lakewood.

Regards

If not needing beach, etc. I would recommend Cypress RV Resort. The folks there are very nice and I think that would be the least expensive. It would be the more quiet, less busy campground.

Myrtle Beach campgrounds/RV parks

I suggest you call ahead. The recent flooding may impact a lot of the campgrounds in S. C. for a long time.

We're in Briarcliffe Rv Resort til the end of the month. Might even stay longer. All their rates include electric, and they go down to $500 a mo. starting in Dec. and running thru March. Never been thru an entire winter so don't know how cold it gets. But we're conveniently located to just about anything we need. Didn't have any problem during the heavy rains we had, everything drained well.
