You've got to see this wheel. This is not your average Ferris Wheel but we'll all have to visit that if we get another Hugo. The wheel is perpendicular to the ocean and faces to the south east. If something like that comes ashore it'll wipe out the boardwalks the piers and the hotels and quite possibly the SkyWheel. It'll be the least of our worries. The concrete piers that hold the wheel I can guarantee will still be there.
I understand that even in the winter here the cars will be heated and air conditioned in the summer. The adjoining complex should round out the visit to that attraction. Across the street you will find the slingshot which fires a 2 person seat at least 150 feet in the air if not more.
Downtown Myrtle Beach is coming back but we would still have rather had the Pavillion back. We spent some time at Broadway at the Beach the other night. That's always a lot of fun. We even have a new Wonderworks.
Myrtle Beach has at least 6 major campgrounds and 2 state parks where you can camp. This area is definitely someplace where you want to go for a family vacation.
