Naples,Fl

I have retired last month and we are thinking about spending the winter near Naples. This will be the first time to spend three or four months in one place. I am looking for a good campground. Thank you

Hi jay24,
Welcome to iRV2. Congrats on your retirement. How much do you want to spend per month on CG rent? There are several very nice CG resorts in the Naples area. All are expensive. Before making a recommendation, can you provide a price range you are willing to pay?

The bottom line is, in Florida, in the winter, the farther south one goes the more everything costs.

Welcome to IRV2 Jay24,

Lake San Marino, a Sun Rv park is on the northside of Naples and close to Bonnita Springs. 2.8 miles to the beach and just off Rt 41. Plenty of golf courses and restaraunts close by. You may be able to get a reduced rate as a "first time" visitor. Not the best place we ever stayed but way ahead of many others. Clean quiet and comfortable. Sites are a little on the narrow side but workable.

If money was not an object, the prettiest place we saw was Crystal Lake but was alittle out of our price range.

I was thinking between 500 and 900. I have done some research and found some as high as 1800. I would like to find some thing in the middle. Thank you

Try RV Parks Reviews web site for good info. We use it all the time to select RV parks.
