Hi All: Any quick suggestions for a bigger rig overnight campground in the Nashville area (ie., easy off interstate, maybe easy access fuel stop, etc.)??? Heading toward Indy on June 11th-ish & taking I-24 N. into Nashville then I-65 N. from Nashville. Thanks. Steve & Lynette

KOA on Briley Parkway is fairly easy from both interstates. It is actually a shortcut between the two interstates.

You might need to take out a second mortgage on your house if you stay at the Nashville KOA, the last time I was there which was back in 2003, they were getting nearly $75 a night.

Hi Chickadee,
On Briley Parkway there are three CGs very close to each other. Yogi Bear, an Independent and KOA. None of them are cheap. I would not recommend the independent if you have a coach 40 ft or more. If this is an overnight stop and you plan to arrive late, consider pulling into the Camping World parking lot. It is located between the Independent and the KOA. There is a restaurant next door.
There is another option. There is a Passport America CG (quite nice) 1.5 mi off exit 98 on I65 North of Nashville. Coming from the South, take a right at the end of the exit and go 1.5 miles. The CG is on your left. The name is Nashville Country RV Park 615-859-0348. The PPA rate is about $20/night.

THANKS ALL!! Looked at "Nashville Country RV Park" and looked good, but I also kind of like the overnight at Camping World idea also. THANKS AGAIN....really helps. (Wow!!!...can't believe that fee at KOA....$75.00/night back in 03!!! That's nuts!!) Steve & Lynette
