Very pretty, peaceful, NO commercial vehicles! Not a good route if you're in a hurry - speed limit is 50.

BUT - scenery is wonderful and your rig will get really good MPG :-)

We did the drive back in April. Beautiful drive and no trucks on the road is fantastic. Plenty of places to get off if you need gas, Walmart or a Campground.

Not many places just to pull over.

There is a gas station about half way and a free rv park without hook ups.

We came home on the trace in April. We enjoyed the slow pace, and stopping at the historical markers. We enjoyed taking our time and making occasional side trips off the Trace. We really liked Trace State Park in Tupelo. The park is on a lake, very nice! Just don't be in a hurry!
