Planning a trip to Nauvoo. Any experience you had there for which RV park to stay in would be helpfull.

If you want/need full hookups, Nauvoo RV Campground at the East end of town. (217)453-2253.

If you only need water and electric, Nauvoo State Park. (217)453-2512.

As far as I know there are only the 2 parks in that area.

Nauvoo State Park is closer to the Center of things, but that doesn't mean much when you consider the size of Nauvoo. :-)

We stayed at the Nauvoo RV Campground. It's OK, and has 50 amp service.

Not sure how big your rig is. We are in a 36' M, two slides. We were in Nauvoo in 2003, so our info may be a little old. The private RV park is OK, looked crowded and tight, but occupied by nice rigs, not a rundown sort of place. The state park is where we stayed; it was OK, but we were really tight in the trees there!! It was tough snaking through to our site. I think TL rating shows the sites to be 8 ft. wide - believe it!! We did get our two slides out. Call the state park and ask very complete questions about the site you want.

Ooops. Sorry, I see by your post its a 39' MH. You may be in BIG trouble (pardon the pun)at the state park. Better call and ask them specifically about the sites.
