NC Mountain campgrounds

Hey Folks,

DW & I are going to the NC mountains next week. Looking for some suggestions on campgrounds in the Blowing Rock (where it is cooler) area that can handle a 42' and toad.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I just spent a week (second time in two years) at Bear Creek RV park in Asheville. They can handle a rig that size, just watch which space if you use a sat dish as some of the trees will block a signal. Other than that, they were great. Just my opinion.

Don't know about Blowing Rock, but the Pride RV Resort in Maggie Valley is great!

Mayberry Campground

We were going to asheville, but couldn't find a campground that wasn't all dirt. We came across the website for Mayberry Campground in Mt Airy, It's only 4 years old.VERY CLEAN.... Great place well maintained. I'm staying a month. I've never stayed anyplace that long. Friendly helpful staff. 5 Stars..

See ya when you get here. I'm on top of the hill. great view

This is a fantastic park. The views are to die for
Don't get stressed about the access road just take it slow and steady and you will be fine. We didn't bother unhooking the toad as some have suggested
