We are looking for one between Fort Smith and Mena. We will be traveling on RT 71. SP or COE would be 1st choice. 2nd would be nice, clean, quiet private park with Wi-Fi. NO KOAs, please.

Thanks,

GHBiker

Queen Willamena St Park is just west of Mena Ark. There is also a state forest between LR and Mena. Arkansas SP are usually really nice.

Three summers ago we stayed a couple nights at a nice Corps of Engineer park just outside of Fort Smith in Barling, AR. It was called Springhill Campground and it was a nice, clean place to stay.

If interested, their phone number is: 501-452-4598 or you can arrange through ReserveUSA.

Click here for some additional COE parks in the Ozark Lake area.

My daughter actually lives in Mena and we've been up to Queen Wilhemena, but not stayed there....looked pretty nice.

Thank you for the recommendations. I will review them and make our reservations.

Thanks again
