Need a New Park Around Tucson for Jan/Feb

The DW and friend have suddenly decided that they have had enough of Quartzsite and want to spend January and February around Tucson or there abouts. I would be happier being closer in to something bigger than Quartzsite. More to do, etc.

I realize that it is late in the season, but we are both 40' DP's. Any recommendations?

We stayed at the Voyager RV Resort a couple of years ago. We were there for a long weekend in January. A nice park with restaurant and grocery. A little pricier than where we normally stay. Big rigs OK.

RV Park Reviews shows many parks in the Tucson area.

Plenty to do in and around Tucson. Titan Missile Museum, Pima Air Museum, Sabino Canyon, Old Tucson, Madera Canyon, Saguaro Natl. Park, Tombstone, Bisbee, Ft. Huachuca, Catalina Mountians and the list goes on.

I agree Lazydays-- it has a great resturaunt and bar and is a nice park, with great people. But it is alittle pricey.

If you want to be on the outskirts of Tucson, De Anza RV Resort in Amado is very nice in a scenic area, south of Tucson off I-19. Benson, east of Tucson, also has some parks.

I reserved February at Lazy Days. If you are there, we are the Monaco Diplomat with the gekko on back. Stop by for a glass of wine.
