Need a nice park on the California coast

We will be heading back from indigo Motor Coach country club in April going home to Oregon. We are trying to do 5 to 6 hour runs looking for nice places to stay on our way back. Big rig parks we will be towing our car. Would like to do the coast run.

We like the Pismo Beach area and prefer Pismo Coast Village RV park. Short walk to town and beach. It can get very busy during holidays so a reservation during that time would be necessary.

Village Camper Inn, Crescent City, California ---- Redwood Empire Fairgrounds, Ukiah, California ---- Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, California---- Yosemite Ridge Resort, Groveland, California ----- Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California ----- Barstow/Calico KOA, Yermo, California

we stayed at each one. All of them served a purpose for visiting the sites. We would stay at them again.

Take a look at RV Park Reviews, can give you opinions about their livability and/or help you pick a park in a particular town. If you belong to the Elks, there are several lodges with camping on the coast.

By the coast run can only assume you mean not I-5. Trying to stay on US-1 or US-101, we liked these:

Wine Country RV Park in Paso Robles.
Betabel RV Park in San Juan Bautista.
We took US-1 over the Golden Gate bridge.
Ancient Redwoods RV Park in Redcrest.

There is a nice private park in Half Moon Bay called Pelican Point off Hwy 1. Owners are a bit snippy, but can walk to beach.
