Helllo,

Derek and I are on the move and looking for a decent (and cheap) spot to stay for 3 to 6 months in Tampa, FL. We will be there on work assignment, so luxuries are not needed, just a good safe spot close to the city.

Thanks, J&D

I would try the Escapees park just north of Tampa.

You might have to join the club but the prices are good.

You might consider Hillsborough State Park too. There's also another Encore Park north of Tampa too.

J&D,
We've been in both parks mentioned. Tampa East (Dover) is no longer an Encore park but the management is better. Tampa North (Land O Lakes) has less trees but is fine for what you want. Both are very busy in the Winter. There is also an Encore/Sunburst in Largo that is very nice.
State parks won't let you stay more than a couple weeks.

Try Spanish Main CG on Hwy. 301. Approx. 3-4 mi. north of LazyDays. Or Southern Air, Which is just across the street from Spanish Main but on Florance Ave. Both would be fine for a few months. Good luck, Art
