I am looking for a campground around the Dallas North Tollway and Highway 380.

Spring Creek Village RV Park is in Plano, TX off of US-75. Not sure how far that is from the area you are questioning about.

Here is a map of RV parks north of Dallas.

We visited a friend in the area several times. We always stayed in this park:

Destiny RV Resorts - Dallas

Lots of shade trees, which is nice in the summer.

We stayed in an Army Corps of Engineers park in Wylie, TX on Lavon Lake. Great place. Huge spaces, full hookups and reasonable rates. Other than the great lake, really no ammenities. But a great place to stay relatively close in to the big city. Highly recommend staying here. You can Google it and find it.
