Need campground suggestions for a two stop trip from Calif. 7 days

We have had our coach for almost a year, and only taken 2 or 3 night trips. Mostly up/down the coast.
It would be a big help to get some recommendations on where to camp in Utah or AZ.
Thinking about November for travel.

We like outdoor activities (hiking & road bikes). Would like to limit travel to one day between the first two stops.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Dan

Zion is beautiful we stayed within walking distance of the shuttle, but I can't remember the name, sorry, hope others can. Great place without a tow.

Also check out Passport American to save some $$. Then cross check those parks in RV Park Reviews. That's how I travel.

Since you're planning a Utah trip for November, follow the weather carefully. You're likely to have very cool temps but possibly light snow - depending where in Utah you go.

Definitely plan for the awesome national parks for southern Utah - Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands. You also have a Jeep and it's all great Jeepin' country. If you could plan for Sept or Oct the weather would be more favorable.

Arizona in November would also give you cool/cold temps at the Grand Canyon or Sedona areas. However, it's still doable.

Otherwise, plan at a midline in Arizona of the greater Phoenix area and south for ideal weather.

When you zero in on exactly where you want to go and how much time you have for the whole trip, come back and ask for places to stay.

Have fun planning!

If you are current or retired military or DoD, you can stay in the military campgrounds which are located just about everywhere for an average of $20 a night. Beautiful and secure.

Got our reservations!!!

Thanks everyone for the great suggestion....especially the web sites and apps.

We decided on "Lost Dutchman" and LazyDays-KOA-Tuscon.
This lets us stop by to see our daughter (really our grandson) for two days in Phoenix, then on to the campgrounds.

Keeping fingers crossed for "Not too Cold" weather for 11/13 - 11/21

Thanks again,

Dan

Excellent choice for Lost Dutchman State Park! It's a beauty. We've volunteered there and it's special to us.
