Need help deciding

We're looking to stay in Va (near Williamsburg) for a week toward the end of June. Need suggestions as to where to stay.
Has anyone stayed @American Heritage or Rockahock r.v. parks?

Yes we stayed at American Heritage last spring for several days. Pleasant staff and clean although the roads are VERY dusty. They really need to do something about that. We stayed on a new, premium lot which included patio furniture and a copper firepot but look at the site plan before reserving one. Some of the premium sites have their patio situated on the drivers side of your coach. Not good. Another defect if you will is that they do not have any paths from road to road allowing a short walk to the very clean bathhouse. If you've got to get there in a hurry you will be cutting thru the other lots. It was convenient to Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. Lots to do in this area. A weeks stay would be in order and would leave some things unvisited until another time. We will go back and American Heritage is where we'll stay again.

American Heritage is taking care of the dusty road problem. I was there weekend before last and they are in the process of paving the roads and the accesses to the concrete paded site. It should be very nice when they finish.

Rockahock is also nice but it too is dusty and a little further away from Williamsburg. But being on the River it does have that going for it. There is a very nice Italian restaraunt on the premises also.
