Need info on Texas State RR RV Park
Has anybody been to the Texas State RR RV park in Rusk? Just wondering if it's big rig friendly and your overall take on the park. Thanks for your input...., Sonny Jim

Love the place and it sure can take big rigs. Be sure and schedule a train ride while there.

If your schedule allows, spring time when the dogwoods and redbuds are in bloom would be awesome.

It's a nice park. You will have no problem finding a good site.

only weird thing is the park is run by contractors, so prices are higher than most state parks.
but the scenery is out of this world

...and your state park pass isn't good there either. I do remember that some of the sites are next to the highway and could be very noisy in the middle of the night.
