Need suggestions for 2 night storage in Scottsdale AZ

We are visiting our daughter in Scottsdale AZ mid November.
Any suggestions on what to park the RV for two nights?

All the RV parks are full (Snowbirds), and I can't find any storage places with 40ft spaces.

Between a rock and a hard place.....

Dan

Find the nearest Indian casino to your daughters house that allows overnight parking. Many casino's set aside an area for RV's to park. You may have to register with security but it would not be necessary to tell them you won't be there.

Visited several parks in Phoenix yesterday and they all had several openings. Try Desert Shadows or Phoenix Metro.

Brain gets the genius award...i never would have thought of that. Two casinos in Scottsdale, going to give them a call.

There is a big tree in front of the daughters house, parking down the street is possible if it was OK with the neighbors....Not sure if there are parking restrictions.

Will also check those two parks.
Walmart is a last resort...literally.

Thanks gus, I now have hope.

UPDATE: Called "Talking Stick" Casino, they have 6 spots.
I just need to ask security for a parking permit....
And it is in Scottsdale.

Regards,

Dan

I've overnighted twice at the Talking Stick. Its a nice place for a casino. They make you register and get a gaming rewards card that you can rack up points on to earn more parking time. Otherwise you are limited to 3 or 4 nights total.

If Talking stick does not work out there is a Wallmart at the 101 and Raintree. You can also park in front of my house, not far from Walmart.

If you only need to "park" your coach most RV parks have a secure outside storage area where RVs can be "parked" for a few dollars a day.

You are just TOO nice, that is a very nice offer

BRIAN: Sorry for misspelling your name

JEFF Thanks for the heads up....I had figured there might be a minor catch like that, but that is well worth it (and we only need two nights)

Mel: I called several places and then gave up, but the Casino whould be great.
There are actually two casinos in Scottsdale (Salt River), so one of them should have something.

Thanks to everyone....you all saved the day

Regards,

Dan

I do not recommend Phoenix Metro. That is off I-17, off the frontage road. We had our rig stored there and it got broken into. Two flat screens, two DVD players, dash radio, cookware, towels and pretty much everything that a crackhead meth addict may want later made us realize that wasn't a good place. Owners did not notify of prior recent break-ins because they were afraid people would leave! Can you believe that!?

Wow, sorry go hear about that, thanks for the heads up.
I'll probably sleep in the RV while the better half stays with our daughter.

Grandson will be with me

dpinvidic - I think the casino would be a problem. The security team should keep you pretty straight there.

When we are at our home base (4 months a year or so) we use a storage yard that had the same sort of problem as the Phoenix Metro. Had being the key word. Now lots of barbed wire, great lighting, cameras and perimeter sensors.

Gotta say tho - with that slick Phaeton I think I'd opt for your last solution. Being left alone for 2 days in the RV park. :-)

I find it hard to believe that all the storage areas at all of the 12-15 RV parks in and around Scottsdale have no RV "storage sites" available in Nov.
Me thinks you gave up too easily.

dpinvidic - still opt for "guarding" the Phaeton and letting the DW and daughter spend time together. Just saying.
