We have 7 days in the beginning of April. Want to take the kids to the beach. We live in northern PA and are willing to drive as far as Georgia.

I would love to hear some suggestions for our family.
We have a 36' pace Arrow Vision.
Look forward to reading,
Thanks
JEN

The water could be c-c-c-cold in April, so I would go as far south as possible. We like to stop at Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach in November when there are no crowds, but then we don't have kids who want to swim. We hear the campground can get zooy in summer, but November is very peaceful. We like to get a site right next to the beach so we can see and hear the ocean from our rig. A lot of Snowbirds stop in Myrtle Beach on their way north in March and April, so I don't know how filled they will be.

Hi Gotago1,
I agree with Paz. For sure, a good time can be had at Myrtle Beach, SC. The water will be warm (Gulf Stream supplied) at least to PA folks. Ocean Lakes at http://www.oceanlakes.com/ or Lakewood CG at http://www.lakewoodcampground.com/, you will be pleased with either choice.

In North Myrtle Beach there is Myrtle Beach Travel Park. MBTP check out their virtual tour They tend to be a little less crowded and across the main drag from Restaurant Row and about 10 minutes from Broadway On The Beach area. In the virtual tour check out their showerhouses. I have never been to a nicer showerhouse in any campground.
