Friends have reserved rooms at Surfside Resort, Rockaway Beach, OR for Labor Day weekend. . Thinking of joining them with my MH. Any nice CG in the area that can accommodate big rigs? How about Nehalem State Park! Thanks

Based on past experiences, Nehalem Bay SP is probably booked solid for Labor Day. Every time we've been there you couldn't swing a cat for all the kids, bikes, etc. Oregon State Parks allow you to book 9 months in advance so if you want a spot you reserve it 270 days in advance. Check out Reserve America for availability. Good Luck!

Ahhh. Just noticed you're from Portland. You know about Oregon SP.

Best thing to do is get the All Stays App. It shows you every campground and RV park in the area you will be going to. I use it all the time and the app runs without wifi on my iPad!

Rita and I stayed at Paradise Cove RV in our 34 footer, but I don't think I would stay there in the 40 footer.
The entrance is down hill and the spaces are tight for 4 slides like you have.
I agree that you will have a tough time getting a spot during labor day.
If you bing search rockaway beach oregon rv parks - Bing
There are quite a few there.
Good Luck
Larry

We take 40 footers here at Shorewood rv park in Rockaway beach. we have openings here. Our sites are $67 a night on Ocean Front, with full hook ups and Cable tv. Look at our site at Welcome to Shorewood RV Park, located on the beach at Rockaway Beach, Oregon . You are on the beach. Inside the park is $55 a night. Hope this helps.
