Just so I can tell all my friends I've ridden the Extraterrestrial High,been close to Area 51 and maybe.... just maybe.... see my own UFO buzzing above I'm gonna drive Nevada State Road 375.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this route and can give a pointer or two on a place to camp (not dry) and/or things to do or see along the way.

Would LOVE to find someone else wanting to do this little ride sometime in the first half of August.

I don't recall seeing any camping in that area, tough we were buzzed by couple fighter jets!

we have been to the little town of rachel in a rental car. gas cost $6.50/gal

when we were there. i understand that the station is closed now.
the road is on open range land. look for critters. it was bumpy and had a lot of turns in it. we did not see much except for the big black mailbox. got a picture of that.
we ate at the little alien inn, great burgers and pie. they have lots of artifacts.
there was a trailer park behind the inn. i understand that it is still there.
they are having a marathon there on aug 17, 2013.
