100 large sites (lots of trees to manouver around)
big rig friendly (sites are 20x35) are you good at backing up
Free WIFI (as long as you are right at the desk in the office)
100 channels cable TV (you need to rent a box but only the owner
can give it to you. He will be here tomorrow.
Heated pool (solar heated but has been broke for years)
Hot tub (pump has not worked for a while....waiting for parts
Under new management ( last year I ran it, this year is my wife's turn)

Yes....our rates do keep going up. Maybe someday we can afford
to fix everything.

OMG you did not advertise the name of the park but I am sure we stayed there not too long ago.

Including where I spent half my summer.

Park I'm at now never had Wi-Fi in my prior visits.. Now I'm oh perhaps 20-30 yards from the Wi-Fi Site #1.. Can't connect house to it (yet) but man am I close.. Moved my House size Wi-Fi Adapter and will try again in a bit Am able to connect the assorted computers to it no tribble though.

Plus my 4GLTE is "Full Scale" here as well. Even if the tower is across the pond (Actually a lake).

2017 saw us transition from sailing to RVing. While sailing we would always travel the extra mile (nautical of course) to some uncrowded bay where we could enjoy nature and our own company at anchor. Dolphins swimming around the boat, bears having dinner on the beach, and no docking fees, no noisy drunks wandering by at 2 am, and no sweating as I attempt to get a 41 foot 20 ton hunk of fiberglass (which I loved dearly) in and out of a slip suitable for a 34 footer.

Our first trip with our new (to us) RV was to Rondalyn Resort, a well reviewed RV Park close to our home in Ladysmith BC Canada. We had three of our grandkids with us, and a pretty good time was had by all. The cost for two nights was $138.94 Canadian. About what I would pay to tie my sailboat up in a Marina.

A few weeks later we ventured up to Gold River on Vancouver Island (no kids). We camped for 3 nights at a Provincial Campground at Muchalat Lake. Downright gorgeous! The equivalent to a secluded bay on the beautiful coast of British Columbia. This campsite is about 10 miles up a gravel logging road from Gold River. The gov't no longer services it but it is kept up nicely by us, the users. The cost - $0. We then spent 2 nights at another Provincial Campground at Buttle Lake. This one is still serviced by the gov't and is also a gem. It costs $20 a night but since I'm over 65 only $10.

My point to all this rambling on - we are happy that we purchased an RV that is very similar to our sailboat in that we are self-sufficient which allows us to 'boondock' and avoid the pitfalls luckyd indicated in his post. We will be avoiding the 'Rondalyns" as best we can, but of course each to his own, thankfully there is stillroom for all of us.
