New Brighton Beach State Park - RV Trip #1 !

We have no trip planned this month, but instead of moping around today, I thought I'd post my journal of our very first RV trip in our BWB (Big White Box) to New Brighton State Beach. Next month will be RV Trip #34 to the Oregon Coast...can't wait!

New Brighton Beach State Park

Hope you enjoyed Nw Brighton. We are in San Jose and without traffic it is an hour drive. That was the first place we camped after we bought our new Windsport 27K earlier this year. We love the place. We have 2 more trips planned there this year and 1 planned for Seacliff also.
Happy Camping!!!

Sporty27K, we had a great trip, and we also love Seacliff! The last two years we have camped the the weekend before Christmas, and it is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. :-). We also love Half Moon Bay State Beach and appreciate the upgrades to the park this year. We live in the East Bay, so we are practically neighbors and would appreciate hearing about any other great camping places close by. Happy RVing!

Seacliff is great, KOA in Watsonville is really nice (more kid friendly), and COSTANOA KOA

We like seeing and hearing the waves from our RV. The windshield makes a great picture window! I agree that KOA has good kid-friendly parks, but my kid is 24 and out of the house. I'll definitely rethink that when I have grandkids! :-)
