Not to send anyone away from IRV2 (this is still the best overall site), but RV Park Reviews has a large number of Campground reviews that have been accurate.

Most of us have been there at one time or another. Anyway the site has been completly remodeled and is up and running today.

It is worth a look (if only to see the great interface) if you can't find what you need here.

http://rvparkreviews.com/

Only when all of us submitt reviews here at IRV2 will our database grow.

I know my reviews at IRV2 are slim, how are yours?

Accuracy

I wonder about the accuracy of some of the reviews on RVparkreviews.com. I have had a couple of experiences that made me wonder about them. Recently one place was so bad that we didn't even stay and had to drive another hour to find another. I tried to review it, but since we didn't stay, that wasn't allowed. I've heard that some places have friends or relatives write in positive reviews, which of course skews the over all evaluation. Anyone else have a bad experience?

I use every means available to select a CG. RVparkreviews among them. However I always remind myself that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We all have different views and opinions of the same subject. That all being said I have had the best results using RVparkreviews.

I contribute to and use rvparkreviews.com all the time, but the site looks the same to me? No changes that I can see of? I've used it for the past 2 years. Always my "go-to" for reviews.

I sometimes use RVPark reviews to plan a trip for our RV Club, In order to be realistic about the good and bad I disreguard the 5 star and the 1 star and read the rest..
I was palnning on another trip up the I5 north of Longview using information from RV Park Review, ratings said great-wonderful ect. so I got in my car and went-railroad tracks on one side (well used) and I-5 on the other-nothing in between to cushion the noise. We were there for 1/2 hour and three long trains went buy,the cabins were backed up to the freeway. I won't say the park name because we did not stay there.

The original post was 5 years ago - that was when they changed the look of the site.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Ditto, the format of this site just doesn't work as well. If we have a park we think we want to stop at and it has lousy reviews, you can see other parks nearby and check other towns nearby. Plus, you see multiple reviews, the parks website, phone number, hookups, etc. As far as I'm concerned it is the best site out there for park reviews.

Actually, they did make a few changes fairly recently. The check marks & minuses (under hookups & accommodations) are different from the Yes/No they used to have & the check marks & question marks for clean showers/restrooms are also changed from the old format.
