Hi, there...we will not haul a toad on this trip, close to Los Lunas would be nice, however willing to drive a bit for a better stay at a park, thank you for your help...much appreciated.

Sorry. You are correct. I took the family camping last weekend so was a bit distracted.

We stayed at Route 66 Casino and RV. Very nice, all new, big place with nice pool area. They have a shuttle right from your site that will bring you to the casino and choice of restaurants. They give you a voucher too for the breakfast buffet.

Los Luna’s RV parks
If you are fond of your belongings. Stay away from ABQ. Not many choices on Los Luna’s.

We have stayed at both American and a High Desert and have been satisfied but, if your going to be mostly in Los Lunas, then Isleta Lakes seems to make the most sense.

I live in Albuquerque and yup searanch stay away! We don't need your type here. As for something close to Los Luna's, your best bet would be the Isleta lakes area. No more than a 20 minute drive to Los Luna's and you can golf, gamble and fish with a 5 minute drive.

I have stayed in the KOA north of ABQ in Bernalillo many times. Nice place but a long, long way from Los Lunas. You need something well south of I-40. Isleta Casino Park is probably your best bet. It is well reviewed.

You have to be fair. Our crime rate has sky rocketted over the last few years due to mismanagement of our current mayor and judicial system. I won't go into details but as soon as we finish prepping our house we plan to move to Cedar Crest because in my cul-de-sac alone I could tell you an hour long tale of auto theft, house break in, attempted car jacking, vandalism, and more.
So depending on where you are staying in ABQ theft is a real concern. I have to remove my tongue battery so the theives don't cut the wires and steal the battery (already happened once on a previous RV), I put a locking gas cap on my F150 do they can't syphon the gas and an after market alarm with a 2 way pager to let me know if someone tries to break in since I have to park it in my driveway. Truly a sad time here right now. And I have lived in my current house for 9 years and know all my neighbors by name here on the NE side of town where the crime rates used to be lower.
