This past Oct we stayed at the New Orleans West KOA. It is actually located in River Ridge with easy access to to the freeway. It is a small KOA with good size spaces and we felt safe and secure. About a block to the south was a great walking path along the water. They have a shuttle that goes back and forth to downtown. We toured Sugar Plantations, the Tabasco factory, the oldest rice mill in the nation and had a great time. Enjoy!
